About Me
Education: I received my master's degree in marriage and family therapy and my Ph.D. in human development and family studies from Auburn University. I completed a post-doctoral clinical research fellowship at Northwestern University.
I was a clinical assistant professor at The Family Institute at Northwestern University for 7 years and am now at The Ohio State University and maintaining my clinical practice.
My approach is warm and gentle yet direct and steady in collaboration towards your peace, growth, healing, and balance in life and relationships.
I value honesty, curiosity, compassion, and openness in myself and those I work with.
I work to be attuned to your emotional experience and the patterns that you may feel stuck in and strive to co-create a corrective emotional experience in the sessions.
